  2. Kia ora Rangi,

My name is Olive and I’m one of the new blog commentators in the Kaikohekohe cluster this summer! I’m working the Teaser Week and I’m super excited to see all your blog activities!

Congratulations on completing your first activity! I noticed you’ve used the Pikoto chart website and encouraged other students to use it at well (by including the link). Well done, I love your initiative! Other students participating will find that super helpful.

Wow, I didn’t know Lorde’s favourite colour was brown! What an unusual choice. Perhaps she’s a chocolate lover! My favourite colour is a bit brighter than Lorde’s. I love turquoise because of the ocean, yellow, as it reminds me of happy sunflowers and orange, for all the beautiful New Zealand sunsets!

I’m interested in hearing about your favourite colour and what it reminds you of? Perhaps you could ask your cousins what their favourite colours are, and why?

Thank you for your lovely blog post and I can’t wait for your reply.

Feel free to check out my blog and get to know me a little better!

  4. Kia ora Rangi,

Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a great holiday so far :)

My name is Tayla and I am the Cluster Manager for the Summer Learning Journey in Kaikohekohe. I just wanted to pop in and say that it’s not too late to start the programme! You can find the activities here: https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities

You can do any of the activities, so take a look at some of the options. I’m sure there will be something that you’ll find interesting to learn about.

I hope I get to read some of your work!

    Ngā mihi,
    Tayla
