Writing

Monday 14 October

Recount
W.A.L.T: Rewrite your holiday.
Criteria:
I deliberately use vocabulary for effect

Orientation: This is a recount about me going too tane mahuta
with me cousin and hung out at opononi.

First:
It was a faded pastel sunrise. I plunged out of bed and
rushed to the holy magnificent kitchen where you could
get an amount of free food. I dashed back to my room
and watched youtube while finishing off my breakfast
later on it turned 8:00 I rushed and got changed and
took my dog for a walk and patiently waited till my
auntie and cousin arrived they got here and we
went off.

Secondly:
To the dentist for my sister's teeth appointment and
I and my cousin waited in the car until they were
finished. Time went past and it turned 10:45 we
went to the cafe and picked out what we wanted
to eat. While my mom and aunty waited until 11:00
so my sister wai could eat and our parents were
finished off eating.

Thirdly:
We went to opononi and hung out at the beach
and went to the park and saw tane mahuta and
got some food and we hung out while taking my
dog for a walk while my mom and aunt were talking.

Finally:
We went home to say goodbye to our aunt and cousin
because they had to go and we had a bit of time to hang
out together before they left and we sat down and shared
our pictures with each other when we took photos on the way.

Reading

This book explains
The remains about one man that protects Indian people that were
living under laws and he informed them how to be free and fell like themselves and he remained a hero including Dr.Martin Luther king. How he taught them was fighting, independence, peace why? because they were living under rules and they were called outsiders
